The article 3 of the announcement of competition ("The first, second, and third prize winners of the latest editions of violin competitions belonging to the World Federation of International Music Competitions of Geneva will automatically be admitted to the Semifinal Round and will be exempt from the application fee) means: "The first, second, and third prize winners of the last three editions of violin competitions...".

OFFICIAL PRIZES:
€ 12.000,00 awarded to Ist place;
€ 3.500,00 awarded to IInd place;
€ 2.500,00 awarded to IIIrd place.
The partecipants at the First Final Round will get € 500,00
as reimbursement.
The winner of the "Città di Brescia" International Violin Competition Grand Prize shall be guaranteed an important series of concerts, as well as participation in Brescia's "October with Great Violinists" Festival in October, 2011.
